Commemoration for Former Chairman, Jiang Zemin (6 December, 2022)
The former Chairman, Jiang Zemin, passed away on 30 November, 2022. He was the President of the People’s Republic of China, General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party and Chairman of the Central Military Commission.
In memory of former Chairman Jiang, on 6 December, our school organized a commemorative activity which started with a brief introduction about his contributions to the development of the country. Then we attended the memorial service held by the Central Government at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing by watching a live broadcast and paying a 3-minute silent tribute. The national flag at our school was lowered at half staff that day.
