2024-2025 Parents' Day
At Parents’ Day on 15th December 2024, we provided parents with an opportunity for in-depth communication with the school.
First, class teachers met with parents to discuss students' academic performance at school and their behavior at home, while also distributing report cards to help parents gain a comprehensive understanding of their children's learning progress and conduct.
In addition, we organized multiple thematic events. A parents’ workshop led by school-based educational psychologist Ms. Chan Hiu Tung focused on the topic "What to Do When Children Are Upset?" Effective coping strategies were shared there to help parents better understand and support their children's emotional needs.
Following that, our honorable guest speaker Ms. Cheung Siu Yung presented a talk titled “Coping with Children's Emotion” offering practical techniques to help parents foster resilience in their children, enabling them to face challenges with greater confidence.
Finally, the F.3 parents' workshop, led by the career guidance coordinator Ms. Ng Ka Ying, focused on relevant issues regarding further education and employment, assisting parents in better guiding their children's future planning. For parents who need further discussion, a focused group named “Dream Sailor” is provided by our school social worker and career guidance team later that day.
Last but not least, we held the Parent-Teacher Association election, enhancing cooperation and interaction between home and school.
Overall, the Parents' Day activities enhanced communication and understanding between parents and teachers, providing various ways of assisting children to develop their potential.
