Our school has long been committed to the mission of becoming a “Green School.”. In addition to implementing school environmental policies and organising regular greening activities, we attach great importance to the proper handling and resource recovery of discarded electronic products.

Over the past year, our school was recognised by the Hong Kong Electronic Environmental Education Association (HKWEA) and received the Merit Award in the “WEEE Inter-school Computer Product Recycling Competition 2025-2026”.

The competition aims to encourage schools and organisations to dispose of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) properly and to promote the recycling of e-waste. Our school sorted and inventoried obsolete computer equipment, monitors and related electronic accessories. All discarded items were handed over to accredited recyclers for professional processing, thereby reducing the environmental impact of electronic waste.

This award not only recognises our work in promoting sustainable development and green campus management, but also motivates us to continue our efforts. We will keep implementing our environmental policies and work hand in hand with teachers and students to contribute to environmental sustainability.
