Wheelchair Climbing and Abseiling Activities
To boost students’ self-confidence and develop their leadership skills, our Discipline and Guidance Teams jointly held the Wheelchair Climbing and Abseiling Activities on 14th January, 2023. Mr Lai Chi Wai, a rock climber, sport climber, and motivational speaker from Hong Kong, led his team to our school to provide experience of wheelchair climbing and abseiling for our prefects, Big Sisters, and other students.
Most of the participants enjoyed challenging themselves and felt satisfied overcoming their fear of height and were glad to step out of their comfort zones. On this day, our principal and teachers from the Discipline and Guidance Teams put in a lot of effort to assist the students in the activities. Most of the students highly recommended such activities and even more challenging ones to be held in the future.
