NCS Movie Appreciation Activity — “Zootopia 2” (Cantonese Version)
On 28 November, our non Chinese speaking students enjoyed an exciting movie outing at B+ Cinema in APM, Kwun Tong, where they watched the Cantonese dubbed film “Zootopia 2.”
The movie follows Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, who face friction due to their different personalities but are forced to work together again when a crisis threatens the city. Throughout their adventure, they must rely on courage and intelligence while re examining the true meaning of trust, overcoming prejudice, and cooperation. The film blends humour, action, and heartfelt moments, offering students valuable reflections on friendship and social inclusion. The film encouraged them to think about teamwork, communication, and the importance of maintaining harmony within a diverse community. Below are some of their reflections after the movie:
2A Malaika Khanan : “I think the movie is very interesting, and I admire Judy the most. She bravely fights against injustice to protect her friends and the city. She taught me to keep trying even when facing difficulties.”
2C Sadia : “After watching the movie, I learned that cooperation requires understanding and tolerance. Honesty and kindness can resolve conflicts, and we can protect our community together.”
3A Amin Hooria: “I appreciate Judy’s integrity. She insists on uncovering the truth and eventually helps reptile animals gain the respect they deserve. I learned that we should hold on to our dreams — if we don’t give up, we may achieve our goals.”
