A Walk to Nurture Creation – 2025 Fund-raising Walkathon
Our students participated in the "A Walk to Nurture Creation – 2025 Fundraising Walkathon" recently. Below are their reflections and thoughts on the event.

Recently, I participated in a charity walk with the Catholic diocese, and I benefited a lot from this event. When the activity started, the sun was shining brightly, and the breeze was blowing which filled the entire walk with a pleasant atmosphere. The scenery along the way was very varied. When I saw many planes flying in the sky, I couldn't help but sigh at the development of science and technology. The fresh sea breeze made me feel the charm of nature, as if all my worries were gone.
During my walk, I came across a planning museum about the history and development of Tung Chung, which gave me a deeper understanding of the area. The exhibits and explanations in the museum were not only interesting but also inspired me to think about community development. Through this charity walk, I not only contributed to charity but also increased my understanding of the community in which I live.
Overall, this event made me feel the power of unity and inspired my passion for charity. I look forward to participating in more meaningful activities like this in the future and contributing to society.

Recently, I participated in a charity walk organized by the Catholic Diocese. I walked from Tung Chung MTR Station to Tung Chung Waterfront. It was truly a profound experience. Along the way, the beautiful scenery and fresh air made people feel happy, as if they had left behind the worries of life. This event not only allowed me to exercise but also gave me a deeper understanding of community connections. It’s so heartening to see everyone come together to support charity. Charity is not only a donation but also an act of caring for others and spreading love. I look forward to participating in more such activities in the future and contributing to society.

In addition to raising funds, this Tung Chung walking fundraiser allowed participants to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. The mountain scenery and coastline along the way were very more refreshing, and walking with like-minded friends added to the fun of the event. Although we were a little tired at times, we felt motivated every time we thought that our efforts could help people in need. This fundraising event was not only a physical challenge but also an opportunity for me to take on social responsibility. I was also deeply moved by the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants. I hope there will be more opportunities like this in the future so that we can contribute to society together.
