Reading Committee - “Reading for Unlimited FUN” Writer’s Talk and Prize-giving Ceremony
Our team held two captivating activities on 28th February, 2025, a writer’s talk by the renowned writer, Yuyi, and the prize-giving ceremony of the “Reading for Unlimited FUN” competition.
The talk was delivered by the esteemed writer, Yuyi, who is famous for being the writer of the popular martial arts action film, 'The Siege of Kowloon Walled City'. Yuyi shared his life as a writer, how the well-known film was made during the pandemic and his wish to transform his works into films. His practical tips on writing stories and his perseverance inspired our students greatly.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where students and teachers enthusiastically posed questions to the writer. The writer graciously answered each query, offering valuable insights and advice.
Following the talk, the prize-giving ceremony of the “Reading for Unlimited FUN” competition was held. The event was a celebration of the outstanding achievements, dedication and creativity demonstrated by the participants throughout the competition. Students’ hard work and talent were highly recognized.
