The Lenten Charitable Award Ceremony
The SAGC Voluntary Team, our school counselling team and the religious team participated in the 2024 Catholic Church Lenten Campaign during the season of Lent. Our school participated in a service project competition and won 2nd runner up. Two students from the SAGC Voluntary Team attended the ceremony and received the prize on behalf of our school.
The theme of the campaign this year was “Journeying Together as Companions”, reminding us to accompany the needy and manifest God’s merciful love. We designed a voluntary activity to serve the Lei Yue Mun Integrated Rehabilitation Services Centre. The aim of the activity was to deepen students’ understanding of disadvantaged groups and to spread their love and care in the community.
