Our School Chinese Debate Team joined the 35th Sing Tao Inter-school Debating Competition. Our school reached the 4th preliminary on Jan 18, 2020. The motion was that “Hong Kong government should enact the Offence of Voyeurism to reduce the act of secretly recording.” Our three debaters, Leung Mei Ting (F.5A), Cheung Ka Wai Jenny (F.5D) and Chan Wing Tung (F.4B), argued for the affirmative side while St. Joseph’s College argued for the negative side.

Although we stopped at this round, the students enjoyed the contest and learned a lot from it. The motion, about enacting this law, was really challenging for the students.
