Study Tours to Australia

ˇ@ˇ@On this study trip to Australia, I hoped I could be more independent and learn more about the culture of Australia. In fact, I achieved many things towards these goals. During the two days on a farm, I held a sheep and even rode a horse! I really enjoyed that. Apart from these, I learnt how to play lash, and throw a boomerang. Throwing a boomerang is not easy. I even drank fresh milk. I was very happy to see the beautiful sky with lots of bright stars with my friends at night on the farm. It was such a wonderful experience!

ˇ@ˇ@I met lots of new friends in Australia. My host family members were very nice and kind. The dad is called Jim. He is funny and always made us laugh. The mum is called Astrid. She is very friendly. I remembered the first time when I met her, her smile made me feel relaxed. She even taught us to make dinner. There are four daughters in the family. They are Grace, Kate, Jasmine and Amelia. Grace is a Level 11 student. She always helped me when I had troubles. Kate is a Level 9 student. We liked to call her Katie. She is very cute and warm. Jasmine and Amelia studied in Level 7. We liked to call them Jazzy and Milly. Milly was my school buddy. She is an easy-going girl so we knew each other quickly. I always played with Jazzy, Milly and their friends at recess. Their friends were all funny and generous. I had a good time with them. I could also improve my English when I talked to them.

ˇ@ˇ@I followed my school buddy, Milly to have lessons. We had an ESL lesson every day. This lesson was just for Hong Kong exchange students. Our teacher, Ms Diane, helped us know more about Australia and taught us a lot of new vocabulary.

ˇ@ˇ@At the weekend, we went to a beach. The view was very beautiful and the breeze was very comfortable. We also went to a shopping mall called Robina. We went to two famous theme parks, Movie World and Sea World. I saw superman and batman at Movie World. It was cool! We also went on roller coasters there. We enjoyed the dolphin show and sea lion show at Sea World. It was amazing! This trip gave me an unforgettable memory. I will not forget my host family, my buddies and my school in Australia. These are precious memories for me.

Study Tours to New Zealand

ˇ@ˇ@This summer holiday I felt privileged that I joined the New Zealand study tour with my friend Christy. We stayed there for three weeks and visited many popular tourist attractions in Wellington and Rotorua.

ˇ@ˇ@We were surprised by the beautiful scenery in New Zealand. For example, we went to Kaikoura to join a seal trip. On the road, the tour guide patiently introduced the local environment and he was very friendly. When we arrived, I was amazed that I saw many seals on the seaside first time. We took a lot of photos and ate the food prepared by the guide. Moreover, we were charmed by the two rainbows in the sky. The tour guide also took us to feed deer.

ˇ@ˇ@My host family Kelly and her son were friendly and took care of us. She often cooked delicious food for us to eat. 11th August is Christyˇ¦s birthday so Kelly prepared a cake and dinner to celebrate her birthday. I think this was a memorable occasion.

ˇ@ˇ@I liked the local students and my buddy, Erica. I was shy when I was in the class on the first day but they would talk to me actively. Furthermore, they often told me a lot about New Zealand such as its history and culture. I loved to go the class with my buddy and have lunch together.
